This is not a formal solicitation. It shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. Responses in any form are not offers and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this DRAFT solicitation posting. No funds are available to pay for preparation of responses to this announcement. Questions/comments may be submitted with regard to this DRAFT solicitation but are strictly voluntary and will be considered by the Government to further refine the requirement and enhance the solicitation. The Government does not intend to post responses (privately or publicly) to industry's questions or comments but will consider them as the solicitation is finalized. Please submit any questions via e-mail to Christa McCarthy at christa.mccarthy@navy.mil on or by 2:00 p.m. EST on 27 February 2012. The Government intends to issue the FINAL solicitation in late March/early April 2012. Please continue to monitor this website for updated information as it becomes available. PMA-273 intends to host a Pre-Solicitation Conference/Site Visit for the TH-57 CLS solicitation at NAS Whiting Field. Please continue to monitor this website for further information regarding the dates and registration process for this event. PLEASE NOTE: THE ACQUISITION STRATEGY FOR THIS EFFORT HAS NOT YET BEEN APPROVED, AND THEREFORE THIS DRAFT RFP IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE. THIS IS NOT A FORMAL SOLICITATION. IT SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. RESPONSES IN ANY FORM ARE NOT OFFERS AND THE GOVERNMENT IS UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO AWARD A CONTRACT AS A RESULT OF THIS POSTING.
