- This is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) NOTICE for Market Research ONLY. The information collected through this process is considered to be market research as described by FAR 2.101and in accordance with FAR 10.002. NO AWARD will be made from this RFI. NO SOLICITATION, SPECIFICATONS, OR DRAWINGS ARE AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. The purpose of this NOTICE is to identify potential small business sources that will be able to provide all of the described services under one contract. The FBI is seeking small business sources that are capable of providing all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, and management necessary to operate, maintain, repair, and make minor alterations to HVAC, refrigeration, and compressed air systems and associated equipment in accordance with the requirements specified. The work includes the performance of service work; recurring services such as preventive maintenance, cooling tower water treatment and seasonal start-up and shut-down of equipment; periodic operational checks; and indefinite quantity work items of repair and alterations. The services are required on the following types of equipment: (1) Air conditioning equipment and systems, including reverse cycle cooling/heating systems, package units, and split/central system units with factory built-in elements and contained within the 'evaporator/air handling unit cabinet as an integral part of the system. (2) Centrifugal, screw machine, and reciprocating water chiller systems. (3) Cooling towers, structures, components, and systems. (4) Ventilation equipment and systems. (5) Refrigeration equipment and systems. (6) Electrical, and electronic controls and systems. (7) Miscellaneous equipment and facilities and systems. (8) Condenser water systems chemical treatment. (9) Chill water systems chemical treatment. (10) Peripheral systems. (11) Package Unit Humidifiers (12) Any additional equipment which may be added by the Government All interested parties are requested to provide detailed information to include, but not limited to: •Experience implementing operation, maintenance, repair of HVAC systems; refrigeration systems; compressed air on three (3) projects accomplished in buildings of at least 100,000 square feet and completed within the past three years. For each provide the following information: Program/ project title; Client name; •The order/contract number the work was performed under if applicable; •The square footage of the building serviced; •The dollar value of the order or project; and completion date. •Provide information for the (3) projects provided in response to question 1 above: Name and e-mail address of two references for each project. One of the references' should be a key person who played an important role in contract performance. Projects performed for government agencies shall include names and e-mail addresses of the Contracting Officer, Contracting Office's Rep. or Contracting Officer's Technical Rep. •Provide information as to the status of personnel security clearance, state whether your personnel have an active and transferable secret clearance for FBI.
