SOLICITATION NUMBER: SPM7MX-11-R-0041 9. DESCRIPTION: (See attached) Solicitation will be issued under FAR Part 15. The solicitation will be available in DIBBS at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ on its issue date of November 22, 2011. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. TYPE OF SET-ASIDE: None All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. Drawings/specifications will be available through the DIBBS solicitation link in the synopsis on the solicitation issue date for the following NSNs: 5930-00-091-1093, 5930-00-091-1110, 5930-00-244-1869, 5930-00-445-5849, 5930-00-619-9303, 5930-00-825-3407, 5930-01-026-6361, 5930-01-028-8466, 5930-01-116-5267, 5930-01-182-1223, 5930-01-303-1717. Drawings are not available for the following NSNs: 5930-00-483-2118, 5930-00-702-9351, 5930-01-034-0077, 5930-01-163-3197, 5930-01-182-7486, 5930-01-237-3967. This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within the Federal Supply Class 5930.
