Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) John D. Dingell Medical Center (JDDVAMC) intends to contract with Olympus America for the purchase of a ENT Video Tower. The purchase is expected to be finalized approximately February 29, 2012. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one (1) source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). This procurement is based on the determination that the government's minimum needs can best be satisfied by services available from only one source. __________ This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government. The NAICS Code is 339112. Responses must be submitted in writing to the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, Attention: Gregory J. Stevens, Contract Specialist (90C), 4646 John R, Detroit, MI 48201, email at gregory.stevens@va.gov or fax at 313-576-1327. Responses must be received no later than 12:00pm, February 15, 2012.
