- Notice of intent to award a firm fixed price sole source contract to Callware Technologies, Inc. (CTI). CTI is tasked to provide Level I sustainment and maintenance support services which includes on-line and telephone technical support 24/7/365, software maintenance patches and on-site repair service, if necessary, as determined by CTI's Enhanced Services technicians. CTI is the original equipment manufacturer of the JHITS Callegra.UC Voice Message System. The Callegra.UC system is the only authorized voice message system listed on the DoD Approved Products List that has been JITC-certified for operational use with the JHITS 5ESS switching system. No other voice messaging/voice mail system is currently certified by JITC to operate with the 5ESS switches. CTI is the only available supplier that can provide maintenance services to JHITS and continue compliance with interoperability and information assurance requirements certified by the JITC for the JHITS switching and voice mail configuration. Level I sustainment and maintenance support services of the JHITS Callegra.UC Voice Message System will ensure JHITS continues sustainment and operational support with delivery of primary command and control communications for Combatant Commanders throughout the Pacific theater. This Notice of Intent is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOI), proposals or quotations. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. This purchase will be under Simplified Acquisition Procedures, FAR Part 13 and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1.
