Description
The WR-ALC/PK Contracting Office, Robins AFB, GA is issuing a solicitation for a Firm-Fixed Price contract to Design/build a restroom addition to Building 91 at Robins AFB, GA. This announcement will only serve as a presolicitation notice. This acquisition will be set-aside 100% for Hubzone IAW FAR Part 19 procedures. This acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 236210. This project is to provide all tools, labor, materials, supplies, transportation and supervision necessary to: 1. Construct a new restroom addition in the exterior northwest area of building 91, approximately 680 SF building area, housing men and women restrooms a janitor’s closet and two vestibules. Provide two (2) countertop sinks for each restroom, four (4) water closets for the women’s and three water closets and a urinal for the men’s restrooms. Janitor’s closet should have a mop sink. The respirator cleaning rooms shall have countertop and a sink. The maximum building space within the project constraints is to be provided. 2. The exterior walls shall be constructed using 26 gauge minimum metal wall panels with load bearing metal-stud backup. The interior face of the exterior walls shall be gypsum wall board. 3. Roof shall be metal roof panels 24 gauge minimum at 2/12 slope. Roof shall be drained using external metal gutter and downspouts. 4. New HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Detection and Suppression, Electrical, and Communications Equipment. 5. Civil site development will include site drainage, connection to utilities (electrical, water, storm, and sanitary sewer). New facilities shall conform to UFC 4-010-01 criteria for construction and Anti- Terrorism / Force Protection standoff distances. 6. Partial demolition of existing metal canopy assembly in the area as required including, but not limited to, columns, chain link fence, foundations, roof, roof structure, flashing, trim gutters and downspouts. 7. Work shall be in accordance with UFC 3-260-01 Airfield and Heliport Planning and Design. Work shall be performed in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications. Magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1 Million. This range does not reflect the actual estimated cost. Any questions in regards to this notice must be submitted in writing or via email to the Primary or Secondary POC. The actual solicitation will be posted on or about 22 February 2012.
