- Statement of Work Project Title: Preventive Maintenance Service Agreement & Technical Support Program for the Digital Card Reader Door Access System-James J. Peters VAMC Introduction/Background: The James J. Peters VAMC Door Access System requires software maintenance to keep the software current and in compliance. The software also needs evaluations to determine the condition of the network and overall status of the access control system. Scope and Objectives: In support of the door access system a service contract is needed for preventive maintenance, service calls, emergency service calls, operator training, software/firmware upgrades and maintenance. Security Accreditation: The C&A requirements do not apply, and that a Security Accreditation Package is not required: and proceed to the next question. Contractor Services and Responsibilities: Preventive Maintenance 4 Scheduled visits per year -Service Engineer 4 Scheduled visits per year- Electrical Technician (local 3) Contractor to perform preventative maintenance on the equipment furnished by TSBA in accordance with the terms and conditions of this agreement. Required work/maintenance will be performed by trained personnel directly employed and/or supervised by awardee An account manager will be assigned to this account that will be responsible for providing account management services. Additional engineers and technicians will also be familiarized with the system to ensure that there is no lapse in service to your equipment. Regular and systematic preventive maintenance will be performed during the hours: Office hours 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M Pneumatic Technician hours 7:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. Electrical Technician hours 8:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. TSBA Service Engineer hours 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. This is to include all local controllers and their respective software tools used to commission and/or reprogram their respective devices. The software is to include all licenses required in order to utilize the software and is renewed on an annual basis. This agreement includes any license file changes to any workstations, laptops, network controllers and labor. Software Maintenance Contractor will provide software maintenance by working with your building operators in keeping the software and reports features of the system at their optimum level, in order to maximize the benefits of the system. This also includes local and off-site database backups of your operator workstations, network controllers, internet settings (if applicable) and local controller files. All work to be performed at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center 130 W. Kingsbridge Road, Bronx, New York 10468 Period of this Contract is expected to cover: February 12, 2012 through January 31, 2013.
