- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract to The Boeing Company 6200 J.S. McDonnell Blvd Saint Louis, MO 63166 using authority FAR Subpart 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements for the procurement of the Non-Recurring Engineering for the retrofit modification to the kickpanels in F/A-18 Lot 23-25 Aircraft. This retrofit is part of a post Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) configuration since there are no production configuration kickpanels to incorporate the hole requirement, to support the baseline ECP. This procurement will include non-recurring engineering changing the design configuration. The Boeing Company is the Original Equipment Manufacturer that has copyright license to the retrofit installation drawings and all engineering data supporting the retrofit design.
