Description

This pre-solicitation notice is to inform that the VA Medical Center, Albany, New York will be posting a solicitation on or about February 27, 2012 to Install a freestanding guardrail system on the roof of Building #67 at the Albany VAMC per the Contract Specifications, Project No. 528A8-12-841SL. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, tools, and supervision necessary to install a freestanding guardrail system per drawings and specifications. Work shall be performed in accordance with construction drawings and specifications and other standards and regulations as detailed or specified. The guardrail system shall conform to the regulatory requirements found in the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards for general industry (29CFR Part 1910) and construction (29 CFR Part 1926). This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 236220. The small business standard is $33.5 M. The cost range is $25,000 to $100,000. Information regarding the scheduled site visit will be stated in the Solicitation.
