- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with The Boeing Company, St. Louis, MO, for the procurement of Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE) required to perform Depot Level Maintenance of the F/A-18E/F and EA-18G aircraft Outboard Leading Edge Right-hand and Left-hand flaps. Quantity (2) of each of the following is required: RE174192501-1 Maintenance Fixture-Flap, RE174192501-2 Maintenance Fixture-Flap, AK174192501-1 Alignment Set-Outboard Leading Edge Flap, LH) and AK 174192501-1 Alignment Set-Outboard Leading Edge Flap, LH). The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own current data drawings or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
