- AG-4431-S-12-0003, SPECIFICATIONS AG-4431-S-12-0003, SOLICITATION PACKAGE AG-4431-S-12-0003 DRAWINGS The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, Mid South Area, has a project entitled 'Boiler Replacement Bldg.5' at the USDA, ARS, Stoneville Mississippi location. The work to be done includes but is not limited to: Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and perform all work in strict accordance with the specifications as required for Boiler Replacement, Bldg. 5, USDA-ARS, Stoneville, MS.. Principal Features of Work: (a) Remove existing boilers, pumps, and appurtenances and piping. (b) Provide new boilers, pumps and associated appurtenances and piping. The period of performance is 120 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed (NTP). The magnitude of construction is estimated between $100,000 and $250,000. The NAICS Code is 238220, with a size standard of $14.0 million. This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-36. Solicitation No. AG-4431-S-12-0003 documents will be available for viewing and downloading at the Fed Biz Opps web site: www.fedbizopps.gov on or about February 02, 2012. A pre-bid site visit is scheduled for Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. CST. Any changes or additional information will be provided in the solicitation package. Bids will be due by 2:00 p.m. on March 13, 2012. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror who submits the lowest bid. Contractors are required to register or update their registration at the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) website at www.ccr.gov in order to receive a contract award under this solicitation, and register or update their registration at the Online Representation and Certification Application website at http://orca.bpn.gov.
