Description
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS OF POTENTIAL CONTRACT: The contract is for organizational level (O-level) maintenance support for Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) and systems to sustain the combat and training capability at tasked locations worldwide. The program supports Air Combat Command (ACC), the Air National Guard, and other major command and combatant command customers. The contract is centrally managed by the ACC Acquisition Management and Integration Center (ACC AMIC) at Langley AFB, Virginia. Support shall include: aircraft maintenance management; Aerospace Ground Equipment and Ground Support Equipment maintenance; supply support; Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Systems; Quality Control; and ancillary support programs. All services requested under this contract are non-personal in nature. This acquisition is unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered. The North American Industry Classification System Code for this requirement is 488190. The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) utilizing Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. The government seeks to award to an offeror who gives the Air Force the best value utilizing a lowest price technically acceptable approach. The Government contemplates award of a single award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with fixed price and cost reimbursable line items with incentive fees resulting from this solicitation. Ordering period is 5 years from date of award. Contract types for the individual task orders will be fixed-price. The RFP is planned to be posted on Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) world wide website www.fedbizopps.gov on or about 22 February 2012. The anticipated contract award date is mid-December 2012. Please note that all information pertaining to subject solicitation including updates on the acquisition and/or amendments to the solicitation will be posted to the FedBizOpps website. The Contracting Officer for this acquisition is Sharon Potter and the Contract Manager is Donna Rankin.
