- The Government provides the following responses to your questions regarding Request for Information M67854-11-I-6007. 1. Has PM-AAV developed a Program Master Schedule for 2012 that includes the survivability upgrades to the AAV fleet? The Secretary of the Navy, in coordination with the Commandant of the Marine Corps, shall conduct an Analysis of Alternatives (AOA) of amphibious assault vehicles. PM AAA is awaiting the outcome of the AoA before publishing a Program Master Schedule. 2. Does PM-AAV plan on issuing a Request for Proposal in support of the scope referenced in the RFI? If so, in what quarter? PM AAA intends, in the 2nd Qtr FY12, to release a Request for Proposal to conduct a trade study. At this time, it has yet to be determined when a RFP will be released for Engineering and Manufacturing Demonstration. 3. Has the quantity of the vehicles to be upgraded changed? The quantity of Assault Amphibious Vehicles to be upgraded remains unchanged but continues to be evaluated. 4. Has the number of survivability modifications changed or has there been a change to the initial scope of work? At this time, the scope remains the same as referenced in RFI M67854-11-I-6007.
