- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a sole source contract for the NAVAIR Ranges Sustainability Office located at Patuxent River, MD. This support of the Sustainability Office is a bridge requirement and a stand-alone contractual effort. The purpose of this acquisition is to provide twelve months of continued Navy Working Captial Funds (NWCF) and Major Range Test Facility Base (MRTFB) support to the Sustainability Office for geospatial data collection, processing, and analysis support services until a follow-on contract can be competed. The Government anticipates awarding this requirement on a sole-source basis to Resource Management Concepts, Inc. (RMC) under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to allow sufficient time to complete competition for the follow-on contract. The period of performance for this effort will be 11 March 2012 - 10 March 2013. The primary place of performance will be Patuxent River, MD. Interested parties are encouraged to monitor FedBizOpps for announcements regarding the follow-on competition for this requirement. Response(s) to this notice may be made via e-mail or on company letterhead: include company's name, point of contact, address, phone number, DUNS number, Tax ID, business size, and this notice number. All responses must be received by 2/22/2012. Responses may be e-mailed to Tonya.Lakner@navy.mil. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on any responses received is solely at the discretion of the Government. If no written response is received within fifteen days, a contract may be issued without further notice. Numbered Note 22 (changing forty-five days to fifteen days).
