- The Government is performing market research on potential sources for the repair/refurbish/overhaul/modification/upgrade of the F-16 C/D Aircraft AN/APG-68 Fire Control Radar System Antenna Assembly (PN 758R800G01) and associated assemblies. NAICS Code is 334220. Interested sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. Interested sources that have the ability to manufacture/obtain the kit parts, install the kit and repair the Antenna Assembly may submit information regarding their capabilities to the Air Force for consideration. The electronic set is NSN 1270015616089WF, Part Number 177K936G01, or assemblies required Azimuth/Elevation Electronic Assembly NSN 1270015615728WF, Part Number 145K256G01; Digibus Electronic Assembly, NSN 5998015615764WF, Part Number 146K109G01; Phase Shift Driver Unit, NSN 1270015616088WF, Part Number 562R218G01 and the mechanical kit parts NSN 5841015616976, Part Number 166K836G01. Interested sources must maintain facilities and personnel to store, maintain, and operate classified systems up to and including Secret. Information received by the Air Force must include (1) complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered parts (i.e. salient physical, functional, and serviceability characteristics), and/or (2) data that the offered parts have been satisfactorily manufactured for the Government or the original OEM. THIS INFORMATION MUST BE RECEIVED WITHIN (30) DAYS FROM THE DATE THIS NOTICE IS PUBLISHED. This request for information (RFI) is not a request for competitive proposals and does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that a procurement will be accomplished. This is not a request for proposal or invitation for bid. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government assumes no responsibility for costs incurred by the contractor in responding to this RFI. These costs remain solely the responsibility of the responding contractor and response is voluntary. Responding to this request in no manner guarantees a contract will be awarded to the respondent. The information provided is to the best of the Government's knowledge of plans, desires, and general situation as it exists at this time.
