- Combined Synopsis/Solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial service prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.102 (g) and with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Solicitation number is: OPM32-12-T-0015 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document incorporates all mandatory commercial item provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-53 dated August 4, 2011. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 721110, and the small business size standard is $30 million. This procurement is unrestricted, allowing both large and small business to submit quotations. The Human Resources Line of Business (HRLOB) is soliciting a contractor to provide overnight accommodations, conference space, audio visual equipment and food and beverage services in support of the HRLOB Shared Service Center Advisory Council (SSCAC) Meeting. The meeting will consist of three (3) days with the Share Service Center (SSC). The first day will consist of a customer forum in which the SSCs will share information on their service offerings to current and potential customers. The second and third day will be the SSCAC meeting with approximately 50 attendees. The offeror will need to provide a meeting space to accommodate approximately 75 attendees and seven (7) exhibit booths for each of the participating SSCs. There will be attendees travelling from out of town and therefor require lodging for approximately 10 people. It is preferred that the facility be accessible to public transportation as most of the attendees will be coming from the local Washington, DC area. Note: The overnight accommodations and food and beverage services cannot exceed the federal daily per diem rates. Offerors are invited to submit their quotations to OPM Contracting in response to this notice by 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST), February 7, 2012. Quotations submitted in response to this notice shall include the solicitation number in the subject line and be signed, dated and submitted via email to lois.jones@opm.gov. Vendors not registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at the time the requirement is to be awarded will not be considered. Vendors may register with CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423 or (269) 961-5757, or by accessing www.ccr.gov. The Office of Personnel Management intends to award a Best Value Firm Fixed Price contract for this requirement.
