- General Information Document Type: Presolicitation Notice Solicitation Number: F1COSS234A001 Classification Code: Food Services Set Aside: Unrestricted Procurement Contracting Office Address Department of the Air Force, Pacific Air Forces, 36 CONS - Andersen, Unit 14040, Andersen AFB, GU, 96543-4040, UNITED STATES Description The US Air Force anticipates a requirement for the provision of food services (Western/American diet and style) at its Paya Lebar Air Base (AB) location and at a contractor provided facility in Sembawang, Singapore. The provision of food services would be required on 3 different occasions per year, for between 21 - 30 consecutive days per occasion. The following information is illustrative of the current food services provided and shall not limit potential operators as to their business plan. (a) The food service requirement at Paya Lebar consist of providing (a) a buffet-style hot lunch served in the existing cafeteria area at Paya Lebar (seating capacity approximately 80); and (b) boxed meals, which typically consist of a sandwich, fruits, vegetables, a candy bar, and a beverage. There are no cooking facilities or cooking equipment at the Paya Lebar cafeteria. Food would have to be prepared at and transported from a different location to Paya Lebar; (b) The food service requirement at Sembawang consists of (a) providing a site/location/facility within a ½ mile radius of Durban Road; (b) preparing and serving hot breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, both ala carte and buffet-style. The estimated number of diners for each meal period will range from 45 - 90. The food service provider will be required to acquire/provide the site/location/facility and perform all maintenance, clean-up, pest control, and rubbish disposal. A formal request for proposals will be issed on or about February 5th, 2012 via the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOps) website at http://fedbizops.gov Any prospective contractor MUST be registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR) http://www.ccr.gov in order to be eligible for award. To be considered responsive, offerors must be registered Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at www.bpn.gov before submitting an offer. The solicitation will result in a firm fixed-priced contract with a base period of 23 March 2012 through 22 March 2013 and four one-year option periods. This acquisition will be solicited on an unrestricted basis as performance will be outside the United States and its outlying areas. Point of Contact Eddie L.
