- Responses are due 15 February 2012 at 2:00 p.m. EST. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Atlantic, Code 6.3.2.0 is seeking information on services to develop an Air Force Medical Services (AFMS) Strategic Communication (SC) function to provide (1) plans and executive communication guidance and (2) media, internet, and content technology. These two SC support functions will enable the AFMS to increase access to approved information for beneficiaries and health teams; ensure superior care and support of the total force; improve patient satisfaction and health outcomes; ensure a continuous increase in the visibility of AFMS policies, programs, and strategies at all levels; and enhance the reputation of the AFMS mantra, Trusted Care Anywhere. The SC elements will entail (1) material efforts for website design, social media, and mobile applications and (2) non-material centralized managerial efforts to include: operational guidance and policies, development and implementation of ongoing AFMS SC marketing and outreach campaigns for variety of initiatives, training of both patients and medical providers, and oversee overall maintenance and sustainment of the AFMS SC effort. Submittals The information received shall be reviewed to conduct objective, comparative assessments and validation of commercial equipment and systems. This RFI is for information gathering and planning purposes only, and should not be construed as a Request for Proposal (RFP) or solicitation of an offer. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this RFI or otherwise pay for the information solicited. All information received will be treated as public knowledge; therefore, vendors should not submit proprietary information in response to this RFI. Specific information sought includes: 1. Company information, including name, address, and URL 2. Whether the company is a manufacturer or distributor. 3. A point of contact for follow-up information, and the point of contacts phone number and e-mail address 4. A brief description (75 words or less) of capabilities and existing or related products. 5.
