- Description
- Provide all labor, equipment, materials and supervision to realign cart rails, provide rail groove fillers, and repair cart tracks adjacent to Buildings 760, 745, and 785 at Arnold AFB, TN. The base contract will consist of a 90 foot test section of track followed by a one-year test period to ensure product functionality throughout the winter and summer seasons. If exercised, Option One will not be awarded until after the one-year test period, and includes the repair of approximately 730 feet of remaining tracks. Work will include surveying, removing, repairing, and realigning existing cart tracks, performing selective demolition, providing concrete surfacing and repairs and providing rubber rail groove fillers. The total estimated contract length, including the option, is 1285 calendar days. The estimated magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000 for the initial award and between $500,000 and $1,000,000 when the option work is included. The complete solicitation will be available for download at this site on or about 24 February 2012 with the bid opening to follow approximately 30 days later. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available and requests for such will be disregarded.
