- All questions regarding this SYNOPSIS should be submitted in writing to the following E-Mail address: Punnie.Chittchang@usace.army.mil. This Acquisition shall be competed as a Total Small Business (SB) set-aside requirement. This synopsis is for the purpose of a pre-solicitation notification only. The US Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa District intends to issue solicitation number W912BV-12-R-0025 to provide an IDIQ (Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity) Contract for various maintenance services for Big Hill and Elk City, Kansas. This requirement includes services such as mowing, janitorial, park cleaning, pumping of sanitary facilities, herbicide application, snow removal, and tree maintenance. Various areas include public use areas, project office complex, trails and other areas on project lands, Big Hill and Elk City, Kansas. A preproposal conference will be held Tuesday, 28 February 2012 at 1 PM CST. Potential offerors will be given the opportunity to visit the various locations of performance. The conference is not mandatory but all prospective offerors are strongly urged to attend. The contract type will be an IDIQ, fixed price contract for the period of 1 April 2012 - 31 March 2013. The contract will also include four (4), one (1) year option periods to be exercised at the purview of the government. All services required under this contract will be awarded by task order. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this program is 561210, a Classification Code of S216, and a business size standard of $35.5 million. The Government will award a contract resulting from the subsequent solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer is conforming to the requirements of the solicitation and will be most advantageous to the Government considering price. This solicitation will be issued via Internet only on FebBizOpps Website at http://www.fbo.gov. Notification of amendments shall be made via FebBizOpps only. It is the contractors' responsibility to check the above-listed internet address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation. No corrections and/or changes to proposals will be allowed after the proposal submittal due time and date. Estimated solicitation issue date is on or about the estimated date of February 17, 2012. Proposals are anticipated to be due on or about March 23, 2012. Contractors must be registered and current with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), in order to receive a Government contract award.
