- The contractor is to provide materials and labor for the GSA Space Alterations project, Des Moines, Iowa. The work will include demo of the walls and removing carpet, etc. The contractor is to provide all materials not previously mentioned, labor, equipment, tools, management and supervision as required and needed for the completion of this project. The contract will have 90 days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed to complete the project. Estimated cost is $50,000-$150,000. The contractor will be required to obtain a GSA security clearance for all individuals working on site. THIS IS A QUICK TURN AROUND FOR THE BIDDING AND COMPLETION OF THE PROJECT. If you are interested in bidding this project respond by email no LATER THAN February 7, 2012, to kathy.routson@gsa.gov with your company name, contact person, address, phone number, fax number, Tax ID and DUNS number. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO ATTEND THE WALK-THRU IN ORDER TO BID ON THE PROJECT. You MUST state the Solicitation number of GS-06P-12-TN-C-0012. Proposal packages will be mailed to interested parties after that date. There will be a walk-thru of the project on FEBRUARY 10, 2012 AT 9:00 AM. All proposals submitted must allow 60 days for GSA acceptance. THIS REQUEST FOR SOLICITATION DOES NOT OBLIGATE THE GOVERNMENT TO MAKE AN AWARD. According to FAR 4.11 ALL contractors MUST be registered in Central Contractor Registration [CCR], www.ccr.gov and Online Representations and Certification [ORCA], https://orca.bpn.gov, before having their bid evaluated.
