- IQC12018009053, this solicitation will contain 1 NSN (3110-01-223-8038) for a BEARING, BALL, DUPLEX. This solicitation will be solicited for award of an indefinite quantity contract. This item is manufactured to a "Source Controlled Drawing." This is a Critical Safety Item. Approved Sources: SIKORSKY AIRCRAFT CORP (Cage 78286) DRAWING: SB1129, REV T, P/N SB1129-102 and TIMKEN AEROSPACE (Cage 78118), P/N SB1129-102. This is being procured as other than full and open competition under 10 USC 2304(c)(1). Note 22 applies -Sole source (FAR 6.302-1) Unrestricted procurement The FOB point is Destination. Inspection and Acceptance is Source. The required delivery for is 244 days ARO. Solicitation will result in an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC). The contract will be effective for a one-year period with the option to extend the term of the contract up to four (4) one-year periods. The estimated annual quantity is 63 per contact period. The contract will include a guaranteed minimum quantity of 35 each (base year only) and an annual maximum quantity of 94 each. The minimum delivery order is 35 each and the maximum delivery order quantity is 63 each. Deliveries will be to DLA stock locations on the east and west coast. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The anticipated issue date is 17 FEB 2012(anticipated closing date of 19 MAR 2012), anticipated award date is APR 2012. Reference notes 22, 23 and 26.
