- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, VISN 6 Network Contracting Office (NCO), on behalf of Veterans Administration Medical Center Richmond, is conducting market research through this sources sought notice to seek sources for name brand or equal to Out-Front, SmartWheel, Wheelchair Use Analyzer. The SmartWheel examines manual wheelchair use by measuring Push Forces, Frequency, Length, Smoothness and Speed. The SmartWheel provides automated reports that compare client's performance against national databases as well as before and after clinical interventions. The SmartWheel is also capable of examining factors related to chronic pain including the force and frequency of push on the handrim. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 334510, Size Standard: 500 Employees and the Classification code is 6530. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. This is a sources sought notice only. This is not a solicitation and does not obligate the Government to issue a solicitation. The information submitted will be reviewed by the Government technical representatives for considering future requirements. Responses to this notice should include the following: name and address of company, business size, and any other pertinent information that demonstrates firm's ability to meet the above requirement.
