- The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) has a requirement for the purchase of an airborne test vehicle (a Vertical Takeoff and Land Unmanned Aerial System (VTOL UAS) to demonstrate the capabilities of the payload hardware that emerges from the Next Generation Counter Measures Future Naval Capability (NGCMFNC) study. The government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Priced contract for this solicitation. The proposed contract listed here is to be awarded under total small business set aside. The small business size standard is 500 employees. A complete specification will be issued with the solicitation. NRL uses Electronic Commerce (EC) to issue Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and amendments to RFPs. Paper copies of the RFP will not be provided. The actual closing date for proposals will be stated in the solicitation when issued. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
