- THIS AWARD NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. On January 31, 2012 the General Services Administration awarded a contract for parking garage repairs at the Robert A. Grant Federal Building & U.S. Courthouse in South Bend, IN. The contract included the award of Line Items 0001 and 0002. These line items include but are not limited to the following: 1) replace drains in parking garage 2) relevel the garage floor with proper slope to drains and repair deteriorated surface of the concrete floor 3) repaint the floor and provide new floor restriping with stall numbers 4) repair the vehicle ramps driving surface and deteriorated concrete curbs around ramps 5) resurface ramps with new non-slip surface 6) repair concrete columns and stairs 7) install sumps an sump pumps in four elevator pits 8) repaint dock walls and handrails Line Item 0003 for patching of spalled concrete was not awarded at this time. The period of performance is 90 days after Notice to Proceed has been issued. Award has been made to Casteel Construction Corp, 23186 W. Ireland Road, South Bend, IN 46614 in the amount of $440,000.00.
