- Description
- The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) intends to contract using other than full and open competition for the rental of training space, audio-visual equipment and integrally-related support services for the International Civil Aviation Security Organization (ICAO) Aviation Security Training events to be held from March 13, 2012 to October 8, 2014 in Washington, DC. Accordingly, TSA intends to award a contract to Dolce International Holdings, Inc., 9600 Newbridge Drive, Potomac, MD 20854. This contract will address the requirements established by the TSA Office of Global Strategies (OGS) for Aviation Security Training events conducted in partnership with ICAO. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement in writing or submit proposals to the Government Point of Contact. Responses to this notice must be received no later than February 15, 2012, 12:00 pm EDT. The Government Point of Contact for this action is Andrea Adam, TSA Contract Specialist, email: andrea.adam@dhs.gov. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received 15 days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. The Government will notify parties of the outcome of any proposal submitted in response. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
