- The MICC-Installation Contracting Office at Fort Wainwright, AK, intends to award a firm-fixed price contract using simplified acquisition procedures to award to a Small Disadvantaged Veteran Owned Small Business on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), with Small Horizons, for interior potted plant maintenance at Basset Army Community Hospital. The resulting contract will be for a base plus 4 option year contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561730, and the size standard is $7.0 million. No solicitation will be issued. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive offers or proposals. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of offers or proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
