- The Center for Health Care Contracting (CHCC) intends to award a six (6) months (1 February 2012 through 31 July 2012) with an option period of six (6) months (1 August through 31 January 2013), interim service-disabled, veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB) sole source, firm fixed price (FFP), commercial (FAR 12) contract to the incumbent, Armed Forces Services Corporation (AFSC), 2800 Shirlington Rd, Suite 350, Arlington, VA 22206, for continuation of non-personal, human research protection subject matter services in support to the Army Human Research Protections Office (AHRPO), Health Policy and Services, Office of the Surgeon General (OTSG) located at 5111 Leesburg Pike, Suite 636, Falls Church, VA, 22041, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(5) as implemented by FAR 6.302-5, Authorized or Required By Statute. AFSC is the only logical source capable of satisfying AHRPO's complex requirement for human research protection subject matter services on 1 February 2012 as AFSC has the necessary management, labor pool and security clearances in place to ensure successful continuity of services. The North American Industrial Code System (NAICS) code is 561712 with a size standard of $500 employees. Points of contact (POCs) are Ms. Katherine I.
