Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 9, has a requirement for dairy products for the VA Medical Center located at Mountain Home, TN. The NAICS code is 311511 and the size standard is 500 employees. This acquisition is unrestricted; the procurement will be conducted utilizing the commercial item procedures of FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. The contract type is firm-fixed price, FOB Destination. The Government will award to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, that are considered to be most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered, prices being rated higher than past performance. Solicitation documents will be available on or about February 15, 2012 and may be attained electronically at www.fbo.gov. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested vendors are responsible for monitoring this site to insure they have the most-up-to-date information about this solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is March 20, 2012. Payment will be made using electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or purchase card. Each offeror is required per 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via the On-line Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) at https://orca.bpn.gov. Offerors must be registered and current in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at https://www.bpn.gov/ccr per 52.232-33.
