- Description
- This amendment is being issued to provide clarification of the requirement. The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a Cost Plus Fixed-Fee (CPFF) Delivery Order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-08-G-0010 on a sole source basis with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation. This effort will include all labor and materials required for the integration and flight testing of the Unguided and Guided Rockets capability on MH-60 Sierra aircraft. Efforts include testing to support the integration of Unguided Rockets (UGR) in MH-60 Sierra aircraft, to include but not limited to, aircraft load analysis, aircraft strength and fatigue analysis, aircraft ground support during test, aircraft instrumentation, and maintenance plan and Integrated Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) updates. This effort is intended to encompass Options for recalibration, engineering analysis, and support for flight test events. This action is being awarded on a sole source basis to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements;" because, as they are the MH-60 Sierra manufacturer, they are the only qualified source which possesses the detailed knowledge of the MH-60S design to allow them to perform these efforts in a timely and cost effective manner.
