- Description
- SYNOPSIS: The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office - SCRO, plans to issue solicitation IFBP05071200001 for the construction of, to include but not limited to, waterproofing and repair tunnel. The successful contractor will provide complete removal and replacement of approximately 250 SF of tunnel ceiling. The tunnel ceiling is is located approximately 2 ft. below grade and is reinforced with 1/2" diamter rebar at 6 OC transversely and 12" OC longitudinally. Provide repair and replacement of approximately 1120 SF of spalling concrete (tunnel walls) with approximately 1700 LF of 1/2" diameter corroded rebar. Provide for the application ofa moisture resistance finish on approximately 1370 SF of concrete. A final structural engineering report shall be produced of the state of the tunnel, after construction, performed by a structural engineer licensed with the state of Oklahoma. The performance period is 545 calendar days after receipt of a notice to proceed. The project consists of furnishing all equipment, materials and labor for the complete construction of the work located at the Federal Correctional Institution, El Reno, Oklahoma. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The solicitation will available on or about February 23, 2012 with an anticipated bid opening date of approximately March 29, 2012. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website http//www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this solicitation, including any amendments will also be distributed soley through this site. Faith Based and Community Based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
