- This pre-solicitation notice is for copier maintenance of twenty-seven (27) Kyocera TASKalfa 420i black and white copiers and one (1) Kyocera TASKalfa 300ci copier. This service is required by US Army South (ARSOUTH), G6 Directorate at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX. This procurement is for a commercial service in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR Part 13. The applicable NAICS code is 811212, Computer and Office Machine Repair and Maintenance, and small business size is $25M. This requirement will be solicited as a competitive, 100% set-aside for small business. Description of Requirement: The successful contractor shall be an Authorized Manufacture Dealer of Kyocera and shall have a manufacturer trained/certified technician to provide all maintenance repairs, parts, labor, supplies, and transportation required to accomplish inspecting, cleaning, lubricating, adjusting, calibrating, vacuuming (if required) of all Kyocera copiers within the ARSOUTH Command. The contractor shall provide at a minimum, one annual service call as a preventive maintenance service to ensure that all 28 Government-owned copiers are maintained in fully operational condition. Place of Performance: Fort Sam Houston, TX in San Antonio, TX Period of Performance: Period of performance for the resulting contract will be a base period of one-year plus four (4) one-year option periods. Contract Type: The resulting contract will be Firm Fixed-Price. Contractor Requirements: Potential Offerors must have active registrations in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database and Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) in order to participate in this requirement and be eligible for award. Contractors should access http://www.ccr.gov for information on CCR registration, and http://www.dfas.mil/contractorpay/electroniccommerce/wideareaworkflow.html, for information regarding WAWF. Obtaining the Solicitation: The solicitation and any amendments, if applicable, will be available for download from the FedBizOpps website at https://www.fbo.gov. It is the contractor's responsibility to check for any posted changes to the solicitation. It is anticipated that the official Request for Quote (RFQ) for this procurement will be released on or about 7 February 2012.
