- This synopsis is for informational purposes only. This is not a request for quote and no solicitation exists. The Mission & Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Fort Polk, LA is seeking multiple small businesses willing to enter into a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for services under North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 812332: Industrial Launderers. The small business size standard for this industry is $35.5 million in average annual revenue. Services would include but are not limited to the following: Provide all necessary resources, management, personnel, materials, transportation, supplies, and equipment, except Government Furnished Property (GFP), to provide all phases of work in connection with the collection, identification, laundering, and redistribution of soiled laundry at all Forward Operating Bases (FOBs), Combat Outposts (COPs), and other field locations at all training areas supporting Rotational Training Units (RTUs) training on Fort Polk, LA. This would also include performing these services in all types of weather, both fair and inclement, without detriment to laundered items. The successful contractor must have the ability to collect and redistribute laundry at odd times of the day, weigh and tag laundry onsite, and provide pickup tickets to individual customers. Rotations generally last approximately 28 days but may be longer in duration; approximately 10 to 11 rotations can be expected per year. Normal daily pickups/deliveries may range in weight from 25,000 to 35,000 pounds but may exceed 70,000 pounds during non-standard rotations (those exceeding 5,000 individuals being trained). Turnaround times are expected to be less than three days from initial pickup. Simultaneous deliveries and pickups are expected and shall be considered routine. Awardees will be required to be registered in the Central Contract Register (CCR) and Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) prior to award, as all payments are made through electronic funds transfer (EFT) from the Defense Finance and Accounting System (DFAS). BPAs will be evaluated annually and may remain in place for up to three years. When establishing these BPAs the Government will consider: Price; Socio-economic Status; Past Performance, where past performance information exists; and Technical Capabilities. As prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004, interested parties must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) under the NAICS 812332. This can be done by accessing the Internet at (www.ccr.gov ) or calling 1-888-227-2423. Representations and certifications must also be on record and updated through ORCA at www.orca.bpn.gov. Interested parties responding to this sources sought request shall submit the following information in their email at a minimum: (1) company name and address; (2) Point of contact with phone number and e-mail address; (3) DUNS Number and Cage Code; (4) Title your email with the wording "ROTATIONAL LAUNDRY BPA"; (5) Responses to this notice are requested to be submitted by close of business on 10 FEBRUARY 2012; (6) Capabilities of your company to perform this type of work to include any past performance of this type work; (7) Pricing sheet.
