- The intent of this special notice is to request feedback from industry on the below listed questions and the D3I Industry Day feedback survey. The responses to the requested questions are due no later than 06 February 2012 and are requested to be submitted to the d3iacquisitions@smdc.army.mil email address. The total page limit for all responses to all questions is three (3) pages. If the response can be answered in fewer pages it will be appreciated. The questions are geared toward companies planning to prime D3I, however we welcome feedback from all interested companies. Question 1: Please provide your suggestions regarding a clear definition of major subcontractor in relation to the D3I acquisition. If you believe that major subcontractors should be defined as the primes "core team members" please also provide your suggestions and definition to this approach as well. Question 2: What types of other direct costs (ODC) items would you expect to receive fee on and why? Question 3: In regards to limited quantity production, what resources do you and/or your projected team members have in fabrication capabilities? The D3I Industry Day Survey is available Friday, 27 January 2012 through 10 am Friday, 03 February 2012. Please take the time to complete the survey questionnaire. The responses will enable us to measure the value you received from this event and to capture both positive and constructive comments to assist us in lessons learned. Your name will not be collected or associated with your response to this survey. Current and future program efforts are representational examples of efforts that could be procured under the anticipated resulting contract(s); at this time there is no definitive plan to procure current or future requirements under D3I. 4. The list of vendors that attended the D3I Industry Day will be published at a later date.
