- Description
- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE - Construct Community Living Center, Minor Project, at the VA Medical Center in Tomah, WI. Contractor shall provide for and furnish all labor, materials, equipment, temporary protection, qualified supervision, overtime, and other items designated under the provisions of this contract as outlined in the contract specifications and as shown on the contract drawings. Project consists of the construction of 3 "assisted living type" homes approximately 8600 SF each in size. Work includes: foundations, superstructure, enclosure, interior partitions, finishes, mechanical and electrical work, roads, walks, grading, drainage, utility systems, and road repair. The solicitation, specifications, and drawings will be posted on FedBizOpps. There will be a pre-construction conference held for this project and all prospective bidders are encouraged to attend. Details of the pre-construction conference will be included in the solicitation package. This solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business firms. The solicitation will be issued on or about February 24, 2012 with the bid opening on or about March 27, 2012. The bidder is responsible to monitor and download any amendments from FedBizOpps which may be issued to this solicitation. Pursuant to 38 USC 8127(d), competition is restricted to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business construction firms. The project magnitude range is between $2,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220; size standard $33.5 Million applies. Time for completion is 450 calendar days after Notice to Proceed.
