- This is a notice of intent that WR-ALC anticipates issuing a Firm Fixed Price contract to include a one year basic period and four additional one year ordering periods for the procurement of Cylinder Assembly applicable to the C-5 aircraft. The Cylinder Assembly is a linear actuating hydraulic cylinder that actuates the pressure forward door lock on the C-5 aircraft. NSN: 1650-00-486-6298UC; NOUN: Cylinder Assembly; P/N: 7115-3; LENGTH: 6 inches; WIDTH: 6 inches; HEIGHT: 6 inches; WEIGHT: 3 pounds; MATL: Steel. SCHEDULE: The Basic period will include a BEQ of 2 each and the 4 Ordering periods will include a BEQ of 3 each. DELIVERY: 200 days after receipt of contract. This is a sole source effort to Transaero, Inc., 35 Melville Park Rd., STE 100, Melville, NY 11747-3268. AUTHORITY: 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies will satisfy agency requirements. Data or rights are not owned by the Government for this acquisition. Estimated solicitation issue date is 9 February 2012. Estimated response date is 9 March 2012.
