Description

NOTICE OF SOLE SOURCE AWARD: The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System 646 NCO 4 Contracting Office has awarded a contract as a sole source requirement to RUTHRAUFF SAUER, LLC of 400 LOCUST STREET MCKEES ROCKS, PA 15136 for the below listed requirement. This announcement is published as a sole source pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-2, Unusual and Compelling Urgency. RUTHRAUFF SAUER, LLC is the only source that can provide repair services in a timely manner to prevent further damage to the facility. Procurement of the repair services is in support of the main water line connecting to the fire damper system. This is not a notice of competitive proposal. The primary objective of this contract order is to provide repair services to main water line connecting to the fire damper system. This contract will provide capabilities in support of the repairs of the urgently needed to the main water line and while ensuring water flow is not stopped and preventing the damper system from fail. The contract was awarded on January 25, 2012 with a start date of January 25, 2012 to be completed no later than January 26, 2012.
