- The Southern Regional Contracting Office - West (SRCO-W) has a requirement for non-personal services of one (1) Part-Time Plastic Reconstructive Burn Surgeon for the Institute of Surgical Research at San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC), Fort Sam Houston, Texas. The base period of performance is on or before 1 April 2012 through 30 September 2012, plus four (4) twelve-month option periods (through 30 September 2016). This requirement will be solicited as full and open. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 621111, Offices of Physicians (Except Mental Health Specialists). Due to the request for tele-medicine any Surgeon that provides services under any resulting contract shall be required to possess and maintain an active, valid, and otherwise unrestricted medical license issued by the state of Texas in addition to a license in the United States jurisdiction in which the tele-medicine will be viewed, if other than Texas. The solicitation number is W81K00-12-R-0005. The solicitation will be available on/about 9 February 2012 at the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website (https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/solicitation_search_form.cfm) and FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov). Prospective offerors are advised that if tentatively selected for award, they must register with the Central Contractor Registration database (www.ccr.gov) and obtain a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code prior to any award being made. Award will be made on/before 27 March 2012. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be issued, and telephone and faxed requests for the solicitation will not be accepted.
