- The synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is a single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access the information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to purchase on a sole source basis (1200) twelve hundred surface mount transformers, Part# 70-0505, manufactured by Butler Winding. Brand substitution is not permitted due to interoperability requirements. Partial shipments are authorized, based on the following schedule: 500 capacitors received no later than 15 March 2012, 350 received by 30 March 2012 and the remaining 350 are received by 16 April 2012. Please include any shipping/freight costs for FOB Destination Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 13. The order shall be firm fixed price. DFAR 252.232-7003 (Electronic Submission of Payment Requests and Receiving Reports) is applicable to this purchase. Pricing should be FOB Destination to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 6220 Tisdale Road, Suite 159, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUES THE ONLY REQUEST FOR QUOTATION, AS ALL ITEMS ARE SPECIFIFED UNDER THIS NOTICE AND WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Offerors may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at https://www.ccr.gov. Quote is due February 3, 2012, no later than 12:00 p.m. (local NSWCDD time) with an anticipated award date by (Feb 15, 2012). Quotes may be submitted by Email in Microsoft Word or Adobe pdf format to jean.n.smith@navy.mil or by Fax to: 540-653-0592. Email or Fax should reference Request for Quote N00178-12-Q-4049 in the subject line. EFT payments are based on the contractor ™s WFT information contained in the CCR database.
