- This is a notice of intent to award a sole source, firm fixed-price contract under NAICS 333315, to Canon, U.S.A. located at 2110 Washingotn Boulevard, Ste., 300, Arlington, VA 22206 under the authority of 13.501(a). A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is soley within the discretion of the Government. Informaiton received will normally be considered solely for the puropose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The scope of the requirement is to provide office scanners, software and accessories in support of the Finance Branch of meeting government regulations. Canon, U.S.A. has developed a customized software solution to include scanners for the United States Marine Corps' use and retains proprietary and distribution rights. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. This notice of intent is not a request for comeptitive quotes. However, the government will consider all vendor capabilities received within 2 days after date of publication of this notice of intent. A determinaition by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to condcut a competitive procurement.
