- Description
- NASA/ARC plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for engineering, systemsengineering, design and development, fabrication, testing, mission operations, projectmanagement, project management support and proposal development. A Draft RFP (DRFP) and Draft Statement of Work (SOW) will be posted initially, seekingcomments from interested parties. The Project and Engineering Support Services (PESS) procurement is a new requirement.The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS Code and Size Standardare 541712 and 1,000, respectively. This procurement will be for 5 years with a one-year base period and four one-yearoptions.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. The anticipated release date of the DRFP is Feb 2012 with comments due in Mar 2012. TheFinal RFP is anticipated to be released in Mar/Apr 2012 with proposals due on or aboutMay/Jun 2012.NASA FAR Supplement Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable. Itis the potential offeror's responsibility to monitor FedBizOpps and the NASA AcquisitionInternet Service for the release of any solicitation. Prospective offerors shall notify this office of their intent to submit an offer. It isthe offeror's responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of thesolicitation and amendments (if any). Potential offerors will be responsible fordownloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Any referencednotes may be viewed at the following URLs linked below.
