- Notice of Request for Proposals (RFP) No. SOL-669-12-000002 Drainage Rehabilitation and Improvement Project (DRIP) Liberia the Ministry of Agriculture The US Agency for International Development (USAID)/ Liberia is looking for a qualified Liberian-based construction firm to undertake drainage rehabilitation and associated improvements of the Ministry of Agriculture (MOA) facilities at the Liberian Sugar Company (LIBSUCO ) compound in Monrovia, Liberia under a firm fixed price construction contract. By this notice, USAID/Liberia is soliciting firms interested to compete for the work. The cost range of this project is between $120,000.00 and $167,165.00. The estimated period for completing the project is three (03) months from the effective date. Firms wishing to respond to this notice must, at a minimum: (a)Be able to understand written and spoken English (b) Have all licenses and permits by the law Republic of Liberia to legally transact business and perform the work; (c) Be a competent and professionally licensed construction firm and also have the capability to perform the required construction, including necessary personnel, equipment, and financial resources; and (d) Have an established business with a permanent address and telephone listing. USAID/Liberia intends to issue one solicitation under Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 36, but the competitive selection process shall be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 15. This publication constitutes notice to all potential offerors that USAID/Liberia intends to issue "Request for Proposal (RFP) No. SOL-669-12-000002." and any amendments thereto. This RFP will be issued on January 30, 2012. Firms wishing to compete should pick up copies of the solicitation at US Agency for International Development (USAID)/, Office of Acquisition and Assistance (OAA), US Embassy, 502 Benson Street, Monrovia, Liberia on or after the above date. On arrival at the Embassy gate, representatives of firms picking up the RFP should request to speak to Benjamin Duodu (telephone 077712803), Contract Specialist below, and/or Princess Brown (telephone 077196001). Interested firms should note that after the issuance of the solicitation but before the proposed due date, USAID/Liberia will schedule a site visit of the MOA compound for these firms.
