- Estimated issue date February 8, 2012 and estimated closing/response date March 9, 2012 PR#: FD2030-12-70128 RFP#: SPRTA1-12-R-0177 Nomenclature/Noun: Reciprocating Pumps used on the B-25 Aircraft, NSN 4320-01-262-2626FW. AMC: 3C History: SPRTA1-09-C-0093 awarded on April 29, 2009 for a quantity of 4 to Triumph Thermal Systems Incorporated. The estimated unit price is $87,811.80. L/I 0001 - The maximum quantity is 11. Mandatory Language: Note: Item Description: Length 13.0600 (IN), Height 7.7500 (IN), Width 8.3500 (IN), Weight 17.0000 (LB). Item Function: The radar cooling package provides circulation of the coolant by means of pumps, reservoirs, pressure switches, controllers and relief valves. The absorbed heat is rejected through three fluid heat exchangers. Material: Housing aluminum alloy with various metals making up the component parts. Currently Triumph Thermal Systems Incorporated (Cage 78943) is the only known source that can satisfy the Government requirements. The procurement of the pumps is procured as vendor part UA538823-4 in accordance with Northrop Grumman specification control drawing DAA3289P001-113. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firms(s) listed: Triumph Thermal Systems Incorporated (Cage 78943). An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program Director or Contracting Officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government Personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposal or in the source selection process.
