- Description
- The United States Department of State (DOS), Office of Logistics Management, Acquisition Management, intends to issue a solicitation for professional labor and moving services. The Contractor shall provide qualified personnel, management, supervision, training, materials, equipment, tools, vehicles, and supplies as needed to support this DOS requirement. The support provided for these services shall be provided through four components of professional labor and moving services which include: project management, provision of professional services, client support and contract administration. The Contractor shall provide services which include, in all cases, the full-spectrum of professional moving services with exceptional customer service, maximum security and minimal damage to or loss of items being handled, and minimum cost as the primary objectives. The Contractor shall obtain DOS building pass for all employees performing under this requirement who require frequent and continuing access to DOS facilities. This is a pre-solicitation synopsis notice published in accordance with FAR 5.203 announcing that a solicitation will be published in the Federal Business Opportunity (FedBizOpps). The anticipated release date of the solicitation is within 45 days on FedBizOpps website. A closing date for receipt of proposals will be reflected in the solicitation. All interested parties must be registered in the Central Contract of Registration (www.ccr.gov). It is the responsibility of the interested parties to review the referenced website frequently for updates. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their copy of the Request for Proposals (RFP) and amendments, if any. This requirement will be conduct as a 100% small business 8(a) competitive set-aside in accordance with subpart 19.8 of the Federal Regulation. Offers from other than 8(a) small business firms will not be considered. The NACIS code for this requirement is 484210. It is the intent of DOS to award a single award indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract. All questions or concerns in regards to this requirement must be submitted in writing via email to fordtr@state.gov. No questions or inquiries will be accepted by telephone or fax. The distribution of the solicitation will be accomplished solely through the FedBizOpps website at http://www..fbo.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation documents will not be available. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring FedBizOpps website to assure they have the most up-to-date information about this requisition.
