- The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for lodging and conference support services. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned for this potential procurement is 721110, Hotels (except casino hotels) and motels. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. The period of performance will be from 04 March 2012 to 06 April 2012. Sleeping room requirements: One (1) room checking in 4 March 2012, checking out 6 April 2012 to provide room for visiting scholar One (1) room checking in 19 March 2012, checking out 23 March 2012 to provide room for CHDS measures of effectiveness specialist Ten (10) rooms checking in 10 March 2012, checking out 31 March 2012 to provide rooms for three-week course participants Forty-five (45) rooms checking in 11 March 2012, checking out 31 March 2012 to provide rooms for course participants There are no conference room requirements at this time. The facility should be able to accommodate the following requirements: - Room accommodations with high-speed internet hook-up and separate work space with a desk. - Preferred location is the Crystal City area, and within a ½ mile radius of a Metro station. - Facility shall have capability of providing a full, hot American breakfast buffet - Kitchenettes in each guest room are desirable but not essential. - Shuttle bus/vans should be available to and from Ronald Reagan National Airport. - Participants should have access to on premises recreation and laundry facilities. NOTE: This is not a request for an Event Planner. If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these services, please provide the following information: 1) Organization name, address, email address, Web site address, telephone number, and size and type of ownership for the organization; and 2) Tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability. If significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver technical capability, organizations should address the administrative and management structure of such arrangements.
