- Description
- The Government intends to procure, for Continental United States (CONUS) as well as O'CONUS requirements, an estimated 15,638 MC (thousand standard cubic feet) of Bulk Gaseous Helium; 12,164 MC of Type 1, Grade A, IAW MIIL-PRF-27407C, 9135-00-890-2011 and 3,474 MC under, NSN 9135-01-525-1620. Of this estimated amount, 15,386 MC is designated product for Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and 252 MC is for Non-BLM. The competitive procurement may result in award(s) of multiple Twenty-month Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ)-Type contract(s) for Fixed Price with Economic Price Adjustment for the BLM CLINs, and Firm Fixed Price for the Non-BLM CLINs. The contract(s) ordering period will be from 01 Mar 2012 through 02 Oct 2013. The product will be delivered f.o.b. origin into Government-owned compressed gas tube-bank trailers, and Government-owned International for Standardization (ISO) containers. The solicitation will also contain line items for associated services such as Purging of Compressed Gas Tube-Trailer/ISO Containers, Delivery Fee for Non-Routine Delivery, and Repairs (repair of Trailer/ISO Container). The anticipated award date will be 24 Feb 2012. The solicitation will be issued on or about 31 Jan 2012 and will be posted to the FedBizOpps web page (http://www.fbo.gov/). The applicable NAICS Code is 325120. A hard copy of the solicitation may be requested; however, only written, e-mailed or faxed requests for solicitation received directly from the requestor are acceptable.
