- The Department of Defense (DoD) Counter Narcoterrorism Technology Program Office (CNTPO) is providing an Industry Day on February 15th, 2012 at the Southern Command's Conference Center of the Americas on the Southern Command Campus at 9301 NW 33rd Street, Miami FL 33172 starting at 0900. This meeting is intended for companies interested in responding to a prospective solicitation to procure Riverine Boats and Trailers, maintenance tools, spare parts and training for Latin America. Training and operational support will use the Maintenance/Operations Support and Training (MOST) team concept. The Industry Day is intended to allow contactors to review the capabilities of the Riverine boats in order to assess if their company can satisfy the requirements set forth in the Scope of Work (SOW) which will be released approximately February 27, 2012. There shall be no photography allowed during the visit. The Government will not be conducting one-on-one discussions during this event. This announcement is not a contract, request for proposal, a promise to contract, or a commitment of any kind on the part of the Government. The CNTPO does not assume liability for costs incurred by an attendee or for travel expenses or marketing efforts; therefore, attendee cost in response to this notice is not considered an allowable direct charge to the Government. The deadline to request attendance is 6 February 2012. If interest was shown in the previous Industry Day announcement for El Coca, Ecuador, a response to this revised announcement is still required. Visit approval is contingent upon written approval from Mr. Michael Pritchett. Upon notification of approval visitors will be provided with an Agenda.
