- The Army Geospatial Center, Contracts Office intends to award a Sole Source, Fixed Price, Contract to ESRI, Inc. for ArcGIS Data Appliance - Premier Collection for Initial Four Core Server Standard Yearly Renewal, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). ESRI is the sole manufacturer of the ArcGIS Data Appliance hardware and software, NAICS code 511210. The enterprise scalable server plugs into an internal network and serves terabytes of worldwide reference map data including imagery, street, and topographic maps. Data is application ready and designed to support ArcGIS Server and ArcGIS Desktop applications. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The anticipated award date is 31 January 2012 COB.
