- The US Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), National Conservation Training Center (NCTC) in Shepherdstown, WV intends to award a purchase order to John Wiley and Sons, Inc of Hoboken, NJ for online subscription services providing access to thirty five scientific journals as follows: Animal Conservation, Aquaculture Nutrition, Aquaculture Research, Conservation, Conservation Biology, Conservation Letters, Diversity and Distributions, Ecological Management & Restoration, Ecology of Freshwater Fish, Environmental Toxicology & Chemistry, Evolutionary Applications, Global Change Biology, Golbal Ecology and Biogeography, GCB Bioenergy, Ibis, Integrated Environmental Assessment and Management, Journal of the American Water Resources, Journal of Animal Ecology, Journal of Applied Ecology, Journal of Applied Ichthyology, Journal of Applied Social Psychology, Journal of Avian Biology, Journal of Biogeography, Journal of Field Ornithology, Journal of Fish Biology, Journal of Fish Diseases, Marine Mammal Science, Molecular Ecology, Molecular Ecology Resources, Oikos, Public Administration Review, Restoration Ecology, River Research and Applications, The Journal of Wildlife Management, and Wildlife Society Bulletin. The period of performance for the proposed contract is 01/01/2012 through 12/31/2012. The proposed contract is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses with this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
