- SF18 - REQUEST FOR QUOTATION The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) requires Batch Unit Boxes as follows: 6" Plastic Batch Unit Boxes, Model # 5283 The Contractor shall provide unit boxes which have the design and dimensions as specified herein and in the attached photos. 5 7/8" wide x 12" deep x 9" tall Letter size, Ivory Beige color Boxes are molded into a single piece with a reinforced hanging hook at the top back of the box. Boxes have molded ribs to prevent records from sliding or slumping. Boxes have slots for file supports. The box has a surface finish to provide a semi-gloss appearance and maximum resistance to chipping. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested. This notice is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and the solicitation number is TIRWR-12-Q-00016. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-55 effective January 3, 2012. This soliciation is a Total Small Business Set Aside and the NAICS code is 423420. All other terms and conditions are included in the attached Standard Form 18 - REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. To be considered, price quotations must be received no later than 12:00 p.m., PST, Friday, 01/27/2012 by Mach Ngo via email at mach.ngo@irs.gov; or via fax number 510-637-2111, or via mail to IRS, 1301 Clay Street, STE 810S, Oakland, CA 94612. Questions must be emailed to Mach Ngo at mach.ngo@irs.gov no later than 12:00 p.m., PST, Friday, 01/27/2012. Questions received by fax or telephone shall not be accepted and acknowleged.
